John Russell Sunrise offers a complete range of services & activities. We do more than just provide a place to stay! We create an environment that is safe, secure & enjoyable! With all the services & activities needed by our residents to participate in a full, meaningful life!

Meals & Snacks

We serve our residents whatever meals & snacks that they want 24/7/365 (on their own own individual, preferred schedule)
We believe in the importance of good food & appetite!

We will accommodate any reasonable requests by residents regarding their meals & snacks (including any unique dietary requirements)

Allergies & nutrition are regarded very seriously at John Russell Sunrise

Transportation

Transportation is very important in an assisted living home. For those residents who still drive their own vehicles, we have free parking. For other residents (who cannot drive or prefer to avoid the added cost of owning and maintaining a vehicle): We understand the needs of those residents and provide transport to doctors’ offices, events, and shopping.

Residents can still go out and experience the community when they live at John Russell Sunrise!

Caregiving

Every resident’s health needs are different!

Healthcare is a top priority in our home. The most important job of our caregivers is to provide as much help as each resident needs with their adls (“activities of daily living”).

We do not provide doctors (nor any nurses or any other medical professionals), nor are we a hospital (although there are some hospitals nearby).

However, we can help our residents to keep in touch with their preffered medical professionals & arrange for their transportation to appointments with their chosen medical professionals.

Good health is essential for our residents and we are dedicated to supporting our residents in any way that we can!

Residents are not required to buy any property.  Deposit requirements vary & will be explained to you when we contact you pursuant to your contact form submission.

Yes, one of our caregivers is always available 24/7/365 to provide any care or assistance that a resident needs! Emergancies don’t care if it’s after-hours so we make certain that our residents always have care that they can rely on all day & night!

All of our caregivers have been trained & licensed by the state of California (including background checks). They are experienced, well-trained & know how to manage the needs of our residents!
